Salman Rana practices general litigation with an emphasis on commercial disputes, administrative law, employment, and labour law. Prior to joining Wray Legal in 2023, Salman practiced independently representing clients with civil and commercial disputes including breach of contract, professional negligence, and breach of fiduciary duty. During his time in law school, Salman worked as a research assistant to several law professors which ultimately led him to serve as research support for intervenors appearing before the Supreme Court of Canada on public policy issues. Salman also co-founded and served as senior editor for Inter Alia, a student-run legal blog and recipient of the 2020 Clawbie Award. He completed his articles at a boutique litigation practice in Toronto and is fluent in English, Urdu, and Punjabi.
Salman earned his Juris Doctor from University of Ottawa in 2020 and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2022. He is a member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
