Rachel Bunbury, is licensed to practice law in Ontario and the State of New York. She commenced her career as a Canadian immigration lawyer in 2011 and has worked as a business immigration lawyer on Bay Street and in Big Four accounting firms. She is experienced in preparing immigration applications under Canadian legislation, and international trade agreements. Ms. Bunbury has participated in international business delegations with the federal government and she has engaged in roundtables on trade and business development at both the federal and provincial levels. Over the course of her career, Ms. Bunbury has served as immigration counsel for financial institutions, accounting firms, software and technology businesses, advertising companies, engineering and construction corporations, and Fortune 500 companies.
Due to her keen interest in international affairs, Ms. Bunbury holds both a Masters of Law and a Masters of Comparative Law from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School. She obtained her Juris Doctor from Western University. While in law school, Ms. Bunbury completed an internship at the United Nations Secretariat in New York. Ms. Bunbury has served as the Governance Director for the United Nations Association in Canada, Toronto Region Branch and as a Designated Representative for Pro Bono Ontario’s Unaccompanied Minors Project. She has also served as the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Liaison for the Ontario Bar Association, International Law Section.
Ms. Bunbury is an Officer for the International Bar Association, Regulation of Lawyers’ Compliance Committee and serves on the Board of Directors for the New York Council of Relocation Professionals.
