Mr. Peacocke provides written advocacy services for small firms and sole practitioners throughout Ontario, collaborating in the preparation of accurate and persuasive litigation material.
Since his call to the Bar in 1990 he has drafted hundreds of facta, mediation / settlement conference briefs and trial submissions in civil and family litigation matters. He also has extensive appellate advocacy experience, including providing opinions and procedural advice. He has drafted submissions and facta for cases in the Court of Appeal for Ontario, Divisional Court and Superior Court, and has appeared as counsel in a number of complex matters.
In select appellate matters he will accept referrals of clients, but generally collaborates with law firms of record.
Mr. Peacocke is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario (LL.B. 1988). He was a lecturer for the Law Society of Upper Canada Bar Admission Course, and has written papers regarding written advocacy for Law Society and other conferences.
