Kevin Mehar is the founder of Dumas Mehar Law and has been practicing criminal law for over a decade. He has dedicated his career to fighting for the underdog and to the pursuit of justice for his clients.
Mr. Mehar earned his Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School in Toronto. He focused his studies in criminal law and was admitted into the law school’s renowned Criminal Law Intensive Program. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Mehar earned his Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Political Science and Law & Society from York University, graduating cum laude. Following his call to the bar, Mr. Mehar worked at the former law firm of Adler Bytensky Prutschi, before moving on to start his own criminal law practice in Toronto.
As a seasoned trial lawyer, Mr. Mehar has defended hundreds of criminal cases and appears at all levels of court throughout the province. Mr. Mehar is fluent in French and English and represents his clients in both official languages.
