Julia’s diverse advocacy practice includes professional liability matters, health law, administrative law, media and defamation law as well as commercial and general civil litigation. She appears regularly before all levels of court, boards and tribunals. Julia also provides strategic pre-litigation advice and support to clients.
Before her legal career, Julia worked for the federal government, the Canadian Studies Centre at the University of Barcelona and coordinated various public awareness campaigns for a charitable organization. In law school, Julia received course awards in Public Law as well as Sentencing and Imprisonment and volunteered with a community legal clinic.
