Jim has acted for accounting firms, individual accountants and their insurers for over 20 years. His clients also include professionals in the engineering, and financial services sectors as well as insurance underwriters, brokers and municipalities.
Jim acts for accountants, engineers and financial advisors in disciplinary and licensing matters and provides advice to professional firms on regulatory compliance and specialized contracts. He practices commercial litigation, often defending regulated professionals under appointment by their liability insurers.
Jim graduated from the University of Waterloo and Wilfrid Laurier University in 1986 and from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1989. He was admitted to the Ontario Bar in 1991.
