Criminal and Regulatory Litigation
Robert (Rob) Kivlichan is a criminal defence and regulatory litigation lawyer. Rob attended law school at the University of Ottawa and began his career at Bennett Jones LLP where he gained experience in corporate law and commercial litigation. After completing his articles, Rob joined the venerable criminal defence firm of Edward H. Royle & Partners where he worked on all manner of criminal defence litigation, from theft under $5,000 all the way to the defence of one of Canada’s most prolific serial killers. In 2020, Rob opened his own criminal defence firm with a focus on domestic violence, sexual assault, and violent offences generally. Rob is always happy to lend an ear to anyone with a criminal law-related question, is always willing to opine on the current state of the Toronto Maple Leafs, and happy to bore you with tales of his atrocious, and always worsening, golf game.
