Rosanna Breitman practices exclusively in the area of family mediation. She received her B.A. in Psychology from Western University in 1992, and then attended Osgoode Hall Law School, graduating with her LL.B. in 1995. After establishing Rechtshaffen, Breitman with Jeff Rechtshaffen in 1997, Rosanna practiced family law for several years before making the decision to become an accredited family mediator. Following the completion of her mediation training and two internships (one with Dr. Barbara Landau, and another with Peel Family Mediation Services at the Superior Court of Justice in Brampton) she received her Acc.F.M. (OAFM) designation in 2004. She then joined the rosters of both Peel Family Mediation Services and Mediate393, and remained on the PFMS roster for 15 years as a part-time Supervising Mediator, training and supervising dozens of mediation interns during her tenure. Rosanna received an LLM in Alternative Dispute Resolution from Osgoode in 2012, and has focused full-time on her private mediation practice for the last several years. She remains grateful for each and every set of clients and lawyers who place their trust in her, and always welcomes the opportunity to help resolve complex and challenging legal problems. A mother of three, Rosanna enjoys spending time outside of the office with her family, as well as reading, yoga, long walks, and travelling.
