Corey received a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Applied Physics from the University of Waterloo in 1993 and a LL.B. from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1998. He was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2000 and is a registered Trade-mark Agent (2000) and a registered Patent Agent (2003).
Corey has appeared before all levels of Ontario courts, including the Court of Appeal, as well as before the Federal Court and the Federal Court of Appeal. He has also appeared before quasi-judicial tribunals, including the Trade-marks Opposition Board and the Patent Appeals Board.
