Stephanie Pope is an associate at Persaud Employment Law. She counsels and represents both employers and employees in all areas of employment law, including employment contracts, wrongful dismissals, workplace policies, employment standards, workplace investigations and human rights. Stephanie has appeared before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario and regularly assists clients at mediation.
Stephanie joined Persaud Employment Law after articling at one of Toronto’s top boutique litigation firms. She was called to the bar in 2014 and earned her J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law school in 2013.
Prior to attending law school, Stephanie worked for a non-profit organization providing operational support for international humanitarian relief efforts. She earned an M.A. degree in International Affairs from Carleton University and an Honours B.A. from York University.
Stephanie is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, Ontario Bar Association and Human Resources Professional Association. She is also on the Board of Directors of the organization that runs the Christie Pits Film Festival in downtown Toronto.
