Ricardo Alcolado Pérez is licensed to practice law in Cuba, Spain, and Ontario, Canada. Ricardo graduated from the University of Havana in 1999 with 12 years of combined experience in those jurisdictions. In 2001, he received a Diploma in Mercantile Law at the Cuban Institute of Foreign Trade. In 2010, he obtained his L.L.M. (Master of Laws) from Osgoode Hall Law School at York University. He was called to the Bar of Ontario in June 2012. Ricardo is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada and the Bar Association of Madrid (Ilustre Colegio de Abogados de Madrid).

Ricardo worked for an international law firm based in Toronto since January 2006 and now he is the principal of Alcolado Law. He practices in the fields of international business and trade, international debt recovery, corporate law, and international commercial litigation and arbitration. Ricardo also regularly represents foreign companies doing business in Cuba, Spain, and Canada.
