Description/Summary of My Practice
For over 20 years, Paulette S. Haynes has been committed to helping her clients achieve effective solutions for a whole host of issues in the areas of Employment Law and Civil Litigation. She regularly advises and represents employees and employers on workplace matters including wrongful dismissal, human rights, sexual harassment, employment standards claims, severance negotiations, and employment contracts. She also serves as a fervent advocate for corporations and individuals in a diverse range of litigation cases. Paulette has appeared before all levels of courts in Ontario and various administrative tribunals.
In addition to private practice, Paulette has further contributed to the legal profession by speaking at conferences, writing articles, and actively participating in legal education. She is the author of the book entitled, Human Resource Guide to Non-Standard Employment. For several years, Paulette taught the Employment and Labour Law course at Ryerson University, and she is currently an Adjunct Law Professor at Seneca College.
Paulette graduated with distinction from the University of Ottawa, where she received a Bachelor of Social Sciences in Political Science. She obtained her law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School and was called to the Bar of Ontario in 1994.
